I left my job but...?
I resigned fro my last post to start a new venture and for 2x + wages. This happened at Easter 2007. I was convinced by the guy who told me there was a position for me with him (he had explained to his boss) and the whole thing was pure bullshit. After four weeks I realised that I needed to seek JSA and sign on every 2 weeks - which I did. Now the JSA 'decision makers' say my benefit has been dis-allowed. Does anyone here know how I am supposed to exist, let alone finance my fares to job interviews, of which I have applied online for around 40+? They say that there is no travel help. If my name was (and no ethnic discrepancy here) Mohammed Abdul el Ikbal or similar - how would the process run then? Many people say the same answer. Yes - here's a house and a mobile phone and - also a pair of trainers...hmm. I am 53 yrs old, British and worked my *** off always, but have no clue as to why I, as a citizen, have been rejected from my own country for a benefit I surely deserve. HELP ME!
