I want to volunteer at a local school with other students under an organization. Contracts?
What types of contracts would I need (Student, Parent, School, Volunteers), and where would I find the necessary informaiton to create these contracts. They are completely necessary, but I am unsure of how to create them...
Answer:
It's not clear what type of contract you're trying to create, or why you think volunteers would work under a contract. However, if the school wants a contract, its legal staff will know how to draft the relevant document(s).
Your volunteer center can help you find specific community projects and non-profit agencies in your local area to help you make an impact in your community. My volunteer center has a "team volunteering" program that can allow you to volunteer on a specific social issue together.

Volunteer centers serve many of your local schools and non-profit agencies. In addition, they provide the connection between the agencies and volunteers. The volunteer centers typically will have the appropriate paperwork for the volunteers, and will also have the appropriate contracts in place with the other non-profits.
Good luck!
