Should back ground checks be done on all people dealing with children?

Answers:
They already are. Anyone who is in a position where they are with children unsupervised are required to be fingerprinted by law.

YES, YES YES!!
yes but all it means is they haven't been caught. yet
i'm pretty sure that in most places, they already do.

i don't think it's necessary to be like working at an airport with an fbi background check and badge issuing, but definitely need a background check.
This is kinda scary, as it brings us closer to a police state. Sure, we all want to protect kids, but how far do we take it? Should we give security clearances to guys selling peanuts at a ballgame ? How far do we go?
