How would I find a case that's been solved for the past 21 years?

My mother was murdered 21 Years ago, I was going to be 4 that year. It happened in Florida, I live in Utah. I have googled, I have searched, I just can't find anything. Please if anyone can help me. I need some answers to my questions. and those questions will never be answered if I can't find what I'm looking for.

If you know the town or county that the murder took place in, email the police department(s) involved. They should be able to help you find out more.

Maybe you should contact the police department of the city in which the murder happened. Explain what it is you are looking for, and why. If there are any of the detectives who worked the case still on active police duty, they may be willing to help you.
