Status of local prosecutor who failed to bring charges against Vick?
Obviously sufficent evidence to bring charges exsisted. His failure to vigorously prosecute the case upsets me. Does anyone know if he is being sanctioned? I hope removed from his duties.

I don't know but hope that he will loose his job, public position and be disbarred for misconduct.
Every local prosecutor has priorities. No one has an unlimited budget or manpower. In my county, for instance, we do not prosecute bad check cases from Payday loan outfits. Marijuana possession is a felony but is only charged as a misdemeanor. That is how the local DA has decided to allocate his limited resources. If the local law prohibits animal fighting (not all do), and if it is written in such a way as to apply to vick (not all do), then the decision on whether to devote time, money and manpower to prosecuting such a misdemeanor is left to the local DA. No one, no where, can vigorously prosecute every possible crime.
