Wow, let's hope you're just a typical garden variety troll and not actually someone who was foolish enough to fall for an incredibly old scam...
Hasn't EVERYONE figured out Rule #1 on the internet? Don't give out personal information.
Why are you asking now?
I would have gone straight to the FBI, which is still what you should do!
Don't. He's obviously looking to steal your information. I'd report him if he can't come up with a legit reason to ask for it. I never give anything out to anyone.
PLEASE, PLEASE, don't send it. THIS IS A SCAM, TO GET YOUR IDENTITY.
L
You won't get in any trouble, because you have just won another lottery! Just send my your ATM card and PIN number so I can verify your identity and deposit a million dollars in your bank account.
Do NOT send it. This is an obvious scam. They will steal your identity and use the passport to get an illegal alien into the country. If you already sent it, what were you thinking? Report it to the authorities.
Follow up: Jenny is a troll. She asked another Q about a scam letter.
First you have to find out who he is and how you won the lottery. If you can get proof that you won something and that he can ID himself + his company and show details of what you entered and won then it would be OK. But like other people said, it does sound like it is a scam and can use your ID. But good luck.. If he can prove himself then I am im happy for you ^__^p
DO NOT! I repeat, DO NOT send this jerk anymore info and go directly to the police station or FBI. Stop reading this and go!
it's identity fraud.
oh yeah here's a thought... .if you didn't participate in the lottery you wouldn't win it!
they randomly pick names and tell them they won, and being that most ppl are simple and greedy they think they won something they never participated in and don't question it.
big mistake
Are you nuts! What are you thinking? If you have already sent the info, you need to contact authorities IMMEDIATELY. Cancel all your credit cards. Contact credit reporting agency and tell them how stupid you are. If you have not, tell this creap to go $#%$&^ himself. You have been targeted for identification theft.
