How can I legalize a pitbull in Miami?

I had to move to Miami for college. I have a pit bull and they're illegal here in Miami-Dade giving him away is not an option please help

you should think about telling people that he is an American Staffordshire Bull terrier. Pitbull were originally bred from these dogs as staffy's didnt have any fight in them when it came to dog fighting hence the aggrression factor that people think pitbulls have (mostly people who own little yappy dog). like all dogs it is entirly up to the owner how your dog behaves and socialises in situations. so register him as an American staffy and your problem is solved.
