CIty ordinances!??

Answers:
Not all cities post their ordinances on-line. You begin by looking at the city's website, if they have one. If the city posts ordinances it should be there. If not, go up one level to the county the city is in. Sometimes a county website will contain legal info for major cities. No luck there, go up to the state level. At the state level you might want to try the Secretary of State's website. If the ordinance you are looking for has to do with the courts, some courts have their own website.
If after all that you still cannot find the ordinance on line, call the city government and ask where you can get a copy of the law. Many cities have a certain library or a research room inside of city hall where the laws are available for viewing by the public.
