What would you be charged with...?

if you made copies (as in scanning, copying, etc.) of someone's signature on documents and using them.? Can you be charged with forgery and counterfeiting separately?

Answers:
copying a signature is Forgery. Copying a document or money is counterfeiting. You would be charged with a Felony for forgery, not counterfeiting unless you created a false document the signature is on.

Yes, you can go to jail for doing that (document forgery) !
Too right and should be sent down for at least 10 years
It depends what you use the documents for but I know you can be charged with forgery. The two words are synonyms and closely related so it would be a case by case basis.
Yes you can be charged separately and may be charged with theft if money or profits were gained while doing this crime.
