I relinquished my rights and want to know if there is a statue of limitations?
Is there any law that says that i can not go back and try to get my child back? Can I appeal the court desions? And is there a statue of limitations that says how long I have to fight for my rights back?
Answers:
You have to get a family law attorney in the State of Kansas to
help you.
This is a complicated process now and the attorney would have to review the entire family court file to see if he or she can help you get your child back.
You should look for attorney's who do pro bono work or who have practices that won't charge you much.
Go to the court house, they may know of attorney's that can help you.
Good Luck.
Well it seems like there would be nothing to appeal since you gave up your rights. But I guess you could file for custody again.
Nobody can tell you the statue of limitations if you don't even give a state
Been there, done that and once you relinquish your rights, you cannot get them back. This issue has no statute of limitations either.
If you relinquished your parental rights, why assume the kids would want you back?
