My ex company is suing me and I believe its a frivolous lawsuit.?
But I dont have the money to get an attorney for district court. What can i do ?
Answers:
Need more info. Why are they suing you? I would suggest talking to an attorney. You may find one who will work with you. If you are correct, and the lawsuit is friv. the company will need to pay your atty bill at the end.
Obviously the company doesn't agree with your assessment! Try to settle with the company before the court date----
sell everything you own and fight it, or settle out of court
or contact a bankruptcy atty right away
Call the local Bar Association and get a referral.
It will cost maybe $20 to speak with a lawyer. If they have a case, he can help you settle.
If he thinks you have a case against them , he will refer you to someone who will file it for a percentage of the punitive damages on the countersuit to their tortious, frivilous lawsuit...
