How dare Johnson and Johnson steal the Red Cross symbol from us?
I read in the news today that Johnson and Johnson were sueing the Red Cross charity because of the logo . ??!!?!
As I understand it the Red Cross goes back to 1859 and has served all of our countries on various battle fronts and peactime disasters and now some coporate giant thinks it can steal that symbol from us?? I am tired of these coporate giants ruling over us, pity there isnt a consumers union! I for one am boycotting their products in protest, how many other people feel the same I wonder.?

Answers:
The Red Cross is violating an agreement they signed with Johnson & Johnson back in 1895, which is why they're being sued.
J&J has has the trademark and has allowed the Red Cross to use it for free. Now the Red Cross is trying to allow products to be sold under the trademark that are produced by other companies. The Red Cross is being stupid. They should be appreciative that they have been given free access to the symbol all this time and not abuse that gift.
