Bounty Hunter...?
I got convicted of a felony a few months ago. Does that mean I have no chance of becoming a Bounty Hunter (yeah I know it's not called that anymore) or an Attorney, something of that nature?

Things that make you go hmmmm! Which flavor of a felony? Drugs? The world seems to think that a felony means you are automatically a POS. Well it is time for us to stand up and show them how vicious we are. Not the physical color but the mental side of it! It is far too late to show fear! We who have been labeled as screw-ups have got to stand our ground. They are jacking more than you realize with the convictions. I've even been told that felons can't even possess any primitive firearms! Some colleges try to ban us! IDK if they succeeded, but will be looking! What they don't think about is the fact that they are discriminatory in their actions, and that the harder they push the worse things get! Do everything in your power to get what you want. Try calling THE DOG! If anyone would understand your situation this would be the man to start with! The world must realize that we are doing things to improve our lives. We ask nothing to be given, only a helping hand. Even a guiding one would be nice! We are going to have to work twice as hard, be twice as good, and push for what little rights we have left. I hope you achieve your dreams x 10. The first step to getting there is informing yourself of the obstacles that you will encounter! YOU ARE HALFWAY THERE!! Keep on rolling!!!
You can still be a bounty hunter but you cannot carry a gun. Dog Chapman of TV fame has a murder conviction.
Most likely it will hurt your chances at any lay enforcement for court related employment. Some of the most famous bounty hunters are ex cons but it is getting harder to get your rights reinstated after a felony.
What happened with Chapmen can not happen today, you would need a governor's pardon now to own a firm and hold the license.
i think you still have a chance. it means you can identify with the people you will be going after, and better sense their motives and actions. =P
I believe you still can be a bounty hunter. You won't be able to carry a sidearm, but you can still perform job functions related to that position. Apply and find out. That is is fastest solution to your question.
