Vick hires a black attorney. Is he gonna try to get out of all this based on discrimination?

JUST MAYBE he's picked the attorney BECAUSE HE/SHE'S GOOD
The only people who will see any race agenda in that are racists who are looking for an argument to make if he gets off with the charges.
I can see it now, if he's acquitted, "He only got off because of the black lawyer"
Vick is in a no win situation here.
Get found guilty - everyone wants him punished ABOVE WHAT THE STATUTES ALLOW, and banned from the NFL for life
If found innocent - many want him banned from the NFL anyway, and will claim that he got off either because of the race angle, or because of who he is
just watch and see how fast the race card gets played.
what discrimination?? The guy has already lost everything. No football team will ever have him play for them again, he has lost all his endoresments, and his whole life. All so he could stage these sick dog fights.
There's a sports writer's story on yahoo news, an op-ed piece masquerading as a news report, that says the whole issue is racial, mainly on the strength of the fact that the writer was outside the southern courthouse where Vick's hearing took place, and he heard a few whites use the "n" word.
So people have already cast this into their own stereotyped ain't-it-awful vision of America. Your job and my job -- as intelligent citizens -- is to see past the buzzwords and media hot-button manipulation to the true nature of the thing: the man did something wrong; he did something wrong repeatedly, as a matter of course, for profit; he has been brought before the bar of justice to face charges.
What's complicated about that?
That is the hot topic now days, is it not, yell discrimination. If he is guilty, I hope he gets punished for it.
If a white guy hired a white attorney no one would accuse him of the same thing. Maybe he hired the lawyer because he's good. Why does color have to matter?
GET OFF OF MICHAEL VICK'S DICK! Stop hating because a black man doesn't have to use a court appointed attorney. Get a life.
