How do i get neighbours staying above me to stop- disturbing (any thing legal in india)?
I have these new neighbors who have just shifted in the appt above me
they have these kids who are always jumping around causing a lot of disturbance in my house
ive asked them multiple times to control this (i understand kids are kids ) but they seem to be doing nothing
do you have any suggestions or
are there any legal steps i can take to get them to reduce/stop this (im in india)

give them a taste of their own medicine. find out their yahoo ID, then BUZZ them all the time. It gets really really annoying.
When they ask why you BUZZ them so much, tell them they are being annoying. Hopefully they stop. As a last resort, ask for sexy chat.
move house
buy them a carpet for thier floor
Make a note of when you have asked them to be quieter, then contact the land lord or local council, presenting them with all the info you have collected. They will speak to them about the noise that they are making, and take action if needed. Either that or move I'm afraid, it seems that you have already asked them nicely to keep the noise down, but unfortunately some people just do not care about others.
most apartments have rules regarding making noise, look at your lease and see what it says regarding this. It may only apply during certain hours of the day, so take notes of times when you are being disturbed.
many cities and states have laws regarding "disturbing the peace" so you might be able to file a complaint with the police department, a few visits from the police regarding noise coming from them, may get them to settle down. Best to do this anonymously so there is no retaliation from your neighbors.
