Can a former King of England's illegal acts be undone?
My family was the 2nd most powerful family in Scotland, until the Knig of England got jeolous and summarily stripped them of all thier lands and titles. He was afraid they would try to take the throne from him. As far as I can find out they really did nothing wrong, he was just afraid of them. Can this be undone and their former holdings be restored to the family?
In America, the courts have usually upheld such law suits against the government.

file a law suit, see what happens?, england has a fairly decent court system, will the suit be against the country or the royal family? appeal to wills he seems like a decent lad, might set some kind of a predecence, get a really good lawyer, who has nothing to prove, who knows, also i would file a suit on behafe of scotland to start, then go from there. good luck
It would depend on the proof of your claims and historic references to the event you're talking about - talk to a lawyer.

Actually, that last statement is not true. If it were, then Native Americans everywhere would be given their land back, now wouldn't they? Besides, you live in Great Britain now. Scotland, technically, is not its own country anymore. So your rights as a Scot are limited and overridden by the laws of Great Britain.

What the king does by definition IS lawful - the monarch cannot commit a crime. The decisions of previous monarchs can be reversed - but that just isn't going to happen in your case.
