Sadly, because he had good lawyers that have been able to get the case delayed for 5 years and has made the money to pay good lawyers, and the people who buy his music, his "fans" seem to not only have a problem with his possible sexual abuse of 14-15 year old girls, but seem to even think it is cool because it just is evidence of him being a "playa".
If he was a regular guy, would likely be doing 8-20 years in prison by now for statutory rape and child pornography charges.
Most people probably don't know about the charges.
Some don't care, because the charges are entirely independent of his music -- just like many people despise Michael Jackson, but still listen to his music.
