Do people in the UK who were legally adopted have any legal claim on the estate of the birth parents?

adopted shortly after birth do i have any claim at all on the property of a now deceased birth parent. As far as i know there is no will

Answers:
The law says once a legal adoption takes place that child is no longer legally associated with the birth parents in any way at all. You would not be entitled to anything belonging to the birth parents, unless it was stipulated in a legal will. Even if there is no will, you have no claim at all on any property, it would be whoever is legally the next of kin, those people could make a claim if the person died intestate, (no written will).

NO!
no because you have been legally adopted out of that family therfore you have no rights at all to anything your birth parents own, be it a house or possesions
well, do you think your birth parents (if they were alive) would have any right to your estate if you were the one deceased. No.
Unlikely, but without a will, it's possisble. Would depend on if he/she had a current spouse or other biological children, who were or are under his care, and not adopted out, among other things.
No you were adopted. That means that legally there are no ties between you and your birthparents.
a definite no under any circumstances
No they are not your parents anymore, you will only have if they had made a will to you.
