Speeding camera citation. How do I fight this damn thing?

I received one of those photo citations in Montgomery County Maryland for doing 37 in a 25 zone. Anyone have any experience fighting these. I didn't pay it and requested a court date.

Answers:
I heard that you can request service records for these cameras and check to see when they were last calibrated as this can affect the accuracy of the camera. If it is overdue for a calibration or was moved and then not recalibrated the ticket would be void as they cannot state for a fact that the camera is accurate.

I have no experience of this myself, but check it out as it may get you off the hook!

+5mph a chance.
+10mph outside chance.
over +10 - uh-oh.
Get a attorney who specializes in this.
If your record is clean then when you go to court they'll probably tell you to switch it for something like "unsafe driving" which doesn't get you points in your license (nor adds to the cost of your insurance), but costs a bit more than the original ticket.
Why bother fighting it? You were speeding, they caught you, slow down. You were going almost forty in a twenty five zone. What do you exspect?
You sped, take the punishment.
you broke the law now pay for your crime!
