Who exactly do you report a corrupt mayor, or city councilmen to?

I mean i've been 2 city council meeting, and if you don't do as she wants she goes after you like a bulldog with a bone, she'll try to get your job, she'll have the city manager harass you for a depoist on everything you own, if you are a business owner she'll try to take any business you have away.she's caused one of the only policemen that has consistantly worked for the city to be put on suspension for following the law, she'll by-pass any law that gets in her way.and if you still don't do what she wants you to do she'll take you to court, and there is a lot of other things shes did, but for leagel reasons I'm not going to put those down. This woman is out of her mind. who should I report this to?

Answers:
All public officials report to . . . The public.

The best thing to do is to write to your local newspaper. Talk with others in your area who feel the same way, and try to get her out of office as soon as possible.

i would suggest the following:

1. write your state senator and representatives
2. campaign for a new mayor
3. catch her in the act of corruption and bring that information to your local news media.
4. write a letter to your local newspaper and tv affiliates and let them know why you think she is corrupt. They may shed some light in their own investigations.
Make contact with the States Attorney's office. Don't present just inuendo, but have facts to back up your allegations.
1.) Your state's Ethics Commission.
2.) Your state's Attorney General.
3.) Your local newspaper(s).
4.) Your local TV station(s).
nothing that you mentioned amounts to "corruption" such as would interest the FBI political corruption unit. Instead, it ought to interest the voters.
