In the state of Texas is it legal for a person who has a dwi with an assault felony work in a daycare center?

Please include a web site if possible.

Answers:
Yes. Look at Michie's Texas Code Annotated. You can get it at your local library. In order NOT to work at a daycare, you have to have a drug offense (misdemeanors qualify too!) or an offense against a minor.

Would you trust someone like that with your child?
I think the daycare center can be choosy about hiring a person regardless of the crime they committed. It depends though, ask them
God, I sure hope not!
Its not. We are very aprrehensive about this in TX. WE set the law three years ago. Revised Statue 321 section 5 paragraph 6.
If clearances are asked it better be produced (Acts 34 & 35)
One is for criminal background
I dont think so based on the idea that the person will pick up the paddle and beat the a**? Some kids need it though
Yes its legal, there not aloud to tell u that u can't apply. (Against the law) but you will have to go through a background check and everything. But most likely u want get the job unless u kno the person. I kno because my mom worked in child care for about 15 yrs. now and a lady had just a misdemenor and they wouldn't except her.
