What direction could I take this issue?
When I bought my home, it had a new sewage treatment plant installed 4 months prior that was supposed to be stand alone. The installers were supposed to have left it stand alone, however, my neighbor was concerned that the drainage would drain on his land. So, through some wheelin and dealin he had them run 300' from my drainage line to a single collection line. Heres the deal. The health department signed off on a document stating that the sewage treatment plant was installed correctly and that it was draining on the property. The document states that the drainage line is 100', when in reality the drainage is 300' and connected to a single collection line! Sounds like some pencil whipping going on here. I am supposed to close on the house this week, but this issue is still unresolved. I am worried that this may cost me, however, the fault is not mine. How do I fight out of pocket expensives due to the negligence of the health department?

once you order the pre paid legal, you can have your lawyer review everything, documents etc. to see what is going on and to see if they are screwing with you! Good luck!
