How do I bring my dead father from overseas to be buried in the US?

I have my dead father buried in Lebanon. He has been there for 12 years and I would like to bring his body here to the US to be buried along side my mother. How do I go about doing that? What legal stuff do I need to do?

Sorry for your loss, hon. It;s good advice to check with the airlines if you need to do this. Why not hire an undertaker to make the arrangements for you? Or the US army might have a department which could advise you on procedure?

Call the airline and some freight airline companies for quotes. Nichole, honey your dad is dead and thats sad.. but move on! Really dad had his homeland in his blood youre moving him for YOU.. not for him.. You brought his memories with you.. and you need to move on. .let dad rest in the rich earth of his homeland...and in peace! Im sure he would want to stay there.. hes not there. hes in your heart and memories!
