Do you think it is right for mall security to tell you what stores you can or can't enter?
A guy once went in to a young girls clothing store and a couple days later while getting into his car after a movie the security questioned him as to why he went in to the store and sait that it is a store that someone your age should not go into. they also asked if he had kids.
Answers:
well, you, oops, I mean this "guy" can go into any store with the intent of purchasing something, whatever gets you off.
Maybe they think the guy is some kind of pervert.
It is private property and legally they have the right to tell you whether you can go anywhere or even in the mall at all. Their job is to protect the comfort and security level of their shoppers. If they feel that is being compromised, they will do what ever they feel they need to.
Always remember that security guards, especially mall security guards, are weenies that couldn't get a job as a cop. So they act all cop in the mall. No gun, no nothing. They have no say in what stores you visit unless they have been told by someone like a REAL cop that you are not permitted in a store. I can't stand security guards. They're such weenies.
Based on these few facts, it is hard to say. On the surface, I would say it does not seem right, but I don't know what lead to the questioning. Perhaps the security guy questioned him after receiving a complaint. I don't think they would approach someone without cause.
The only reason that I can think of that this would happen, would be is if someone had reported him as looking suspicious. Maybe he was staring at little girls or something which scared them.
