I fell in a grocery store. It was as I was leaving just outside the door! They had two rubber Matt's side by
side and they were scrunched up. Anyway I stumbled about three feet trying my best not to fall. But ended up falling anyway! My question is, is the store liable for my medical bills?

I would think they would be, since the mats are theirs, did you go in and report it to the store, did anyone else see you fall?
I would suggest to talk to the store manager and ask him where do you send your medical bills, and put the ball in his court.

The store may be willing to pay for this outside of a court arrangement, otherwise you will need to prove this in court. Take pictures of the situation, and shore up any witnesses who may have seen what happened.

Probably, depending on state law. You may want to contact a local Personal Injury (PI) attorney to negotiate with the store. PI attorneys usually take cases on contingency, that is no money up front, but a percentage of the settlement.
OR you can go back into the store tell the store manager what happened and request that he fill out an accident report, which will go to the store's main office. Try to get a copy of the report, at least ask for store manager's name and who he sends reports to.
Follow up by calling the store's main office, I would ask for the head of customer service or whoever is listed on the store report. Tell the person what happened and ask if they want to deal with you or your attorney. They should at least offer to pay for medical bills. If not, go the attorney route and ask for 3 x what your medical bills are.
if you don't have ins. then i would ask them to pay. If you have ins. and its all taken care of and you are still able to walk and/or drive,why bother as long as they correct the problem.
so what kind of medical bills could you possibly have? what sucks is there are lawyers who will take your case and if you win then we all suffer b/c of higher grocery prices.
