What do you think about a guy who destroys Bibles and Qu rans?
He destroyed a Qu ran worth an estimated $60,000. by setting it ablaze and cut up a bible with a pair of scissors after using a black magic marker to deface it.
All this in protest of how the homosexuals are discriminated against by these religious books.
He is also an artist (if you'd call what he does art) and gives all of the proceeds he makes from this art to the ACLU so they can terrorize even more people with their perversion and outiright hatred of anything decent.
He also quit paying taxes as a form of protest for couples who are gay but don't get the same tax breaks as heterosexual couples.

There is a cure for that man and others like HIm, it is finding Jesus Chrsit, but few that are that in bondage and hell from sin, will ever turn to Jesus Chrsit. ONce one begins to live in hatred, and then hatred for God, curses come to them, that cause them to live in darkness as they can long longer Hear Gods voice They have silenced the voice of God by blashpheiming the Holy Spirit. FEw that are heading on this path will ever change, but we can still pray they will and believe for change, as we continue to live truth ourselves and speak it to all who will hear.
God doesnt hate homosexuals. He loves us all the same. HE loves the sinner, but hates the sin, as He commands us to do. BUt it is an abomination to God and unless repented of and stopped, they will be lost and dondemend to hell by their own choices. They live in open rebellion to God. Obedience leads to blessing and diso bedience leads to curse. BUt God tells us all this and tries to warn us, it is not His fault, if ppl wont hear and obey. God wants us to tell the world about Jesus and to populate the earth with children that will continue to tell the world about Jesus. Homosexuality is truly against this plan of God to spread the good news. What next? IF a man says he is into beastiality and lvoes his sheep, do we honor that too and agree to marriage? NO. Marriage was made for a man and a woman to marry and become as one with God. The fact that some dont believe in God doent change the realness of it all. When a nation goes against God, curses come. Look around us, does the world look like its getting better or worse. ?? When we abandon God as a nation, He will abandon us, except for those that are truly His, and they will receive more Holy Spirit revelation and annointing to get thru these days and stil stand for HIm. PPl will say but even animals have some degree of homosexuality. ok, so what? They also eat each other too, so what? WE arent animals, should we copy all of their behavior? We must remind them there is still hope, and keep praying for them and speaking truths to them, be it accepted or not. and we must live the truths we preach, or we have nothing to offer them. w e must show them how God change dour life for them to know how God can change them.
I never heard of this person you mentioned, but its horrid. Also just heard of a group that is anti God, that made stickers up and they go around to all the motels with BIbles and put the stickers on that say this book is dangerous to your hell.

I think the guy is an angry atheist who needs prayer.
I think it is wrong to cite religion against Homosexuals and their rights to get married or even be together. But I think that burning bibles and Qu Rans are just as bad. Violent and disrespectful protest do not solve anything they just make it worse. I don't think what this guy is doing is going to solve anything. I think its just dumb and disrespectful.
I think it's a bit much . . . sort of like when parents burn books at public libraries . . . or when someone burns the American flag . . .but ultimately, as unpopular as this opinion is, I just don't care.
I suppose you'd like to see him arrested for this, but he hasn't broken any laws. This is a free country and he's simply expressing his opinion in a way that will get attention. It got yours, didn't it?

I'm not saying I'd do what he's doing myself, but he has a right to do it, just as you have a right to burn a picture of Ellen DeGeneres if you were so inclined. That would be far less offensive than the Republicans' repeated efforts to defile the Consitution by passing an anti-gay amendment, which is a blatant violation of civil rights, and they're doing it just to placate Bible-thumpers like you. That's what he's protesting, and even though I'm straight I strongly agree that he has a right to be angry.
The ACLU defends everyone's rights equally, and doesn't take sides. I don't know where you got the idea that they hate everything decent. They merely defend people's Constitutional rights, including freedom of speech, even when what those people have to say is unpopular.
Art is in the eye of the beholder. You can love it or hate it, but in America, we have the right to make whatever art we like. We also have the right, if we hate that art (like you apparently do) to not buy or support it.

If you don't like his art, don't support it. He can use the proceeds from people who DO appreciate it as he sees fit, even donating it to an association you don't like.
All extemism is bad. Intolerance of other's beliefs and opinions is always wrong whether you have faith or support socialism or anarchy.
Okay, i want to first clear something up with some of the comments. The Bible does not discriminate against homosexuals, it just says that homosexuality is wrong. Just like it doesn't discriminate against thieves, it just says stealing is wrong. Anyway, this guy is so stuck up and "liberal" that he cant even take the time to see that. Besides, marriage is not something the government invented, technically it is a Christian/Jewish/Muslim ritual that has been adopted by the rest of the world. They should be the ones who decide who can get married , not anyone else.

lets start with the ACLU - there is nothing wrong with this organization - they are a non-partisan org that believes in peoples civil rights and fights for those rights.
burning of books is meaningless - its the value of those books that people give them vs. the lack of value by the burnee - if he burned the IRS code everyoen woudl probably cheer for him but since its a "religous" type book suddenly its a problem - if the guy is an atheist then they are nothing more then regular books to him
quit paying taxes out of protest for a gay cause is stupid and will get him in trouble - if he isnt going to do this he better have his ducks in a row when the IRS comes knocking - i know he canget away with it but not using the cause he is using
I think thatthis guy is doign this to get attention to his cause - however perverse the cause is - and its working - we are even talking aboutit here on Y/A - he must be a fairly smart (or really lucky) guy to figure out that if you wantattention for a cause you need to cause contraversy around yourslef first
