What area of law would this be?

If someone were to sue the Dept of Children and Families,or some entity like that, what category of law would this fall under?

Answers:
Reguardless of whether you are suing and individual or a department of goverment... its still a civil suit, and would go to civil court.

the reason for the suit would dictate the catagory of law thereafter. (Administrative, damages, corperate...etc)

administrative law
What are you suing for? It could be administrative law, contract law, family law, tort law, depending on the nature of the claim.
