I paid my rent today and was told that i need to move at the end of the mont so do i still pay for this month?
Answers:
Yes, since you will still be living there for the rest of this month.
if your living there another month you should pay so your credit score doesnt go down
don't know what the law says but i wouldn't.
Of Course. There's no free ride
if you paid your rent today, you paid it for the month... you shouldnt owe if you move at the end of the month.
Yes, the landlord is just giving you thirty days notice which is required by law.
Did you pay first and last months rent? if so, then you don't have to pay it. You must pay for the time that you will be living there (unless other circumstances arise).
I guess I'm not really sure what you would contest.
if they have no real reason for kicking you out and the place is in good condition I'd try to get out of it but don't spend the money on anything but another place.
if you are paying on a month by month basis, most likely you are paying in advance, so yea you owe for the month
If you paid for the last month when you first rented the apartment, you shouldn't have to pay since this is your last month.
Depends on what state you live in. California protect the tenants. It's hard to evict someone.
You need to google "renter's rights" in your state. Take a look. They may be required to give you a written eviction notice of anywhere from 30 to 90 days.
Repost this question again but include what state you live in, whether you are referring to an apartment complex or a roomate that is kicking you out. You also need to included WHY you have to be out by the end of the month because that has everything to do with it. If the reason is unfair, then you have more options.
When you moved in, did you give a security and a month's rent in advance? If you did, you should have not paid your rent
Yep unless you have other arrangements with the landlord.
