Is looking in an open window illegal?
If I thought that my daughter was over someones house that she shouldn't have been and I went there and peeked in their open windows is that illegal? Or you can say the same for husband/wife situations as well.

If you have to trespass onto private property to do so, then yes. Looking in someone's window from a public street is ok though. That's what they make curtains for.

Well, you admitted to going on to private property, so I think you broke the law. Furthermore, stalking is considered a crime in all 50 states... so you would have to persuade a court that you were not stalking, and you would have to view these activities from the street or other public property.
Looking in an open window is not illegal if you are trying to protect once right and reputation. Goodness should always prevail and we could live in a harmonious way.

Yes its illegal. If I caught you looking in my window for proof of anything I'd beat your a*s and then call the police and have you arrested. It doesn't matter what reason you have for doing it man it is just wrong. What would you do if you caught me looking in one of your windows? If I told you I was doing it for proof of something would you then simply just say oh ok dude and then invite me in for a beer?
