Would the court accept a agree amount for child support if it fall under the state guildlines?

Answers:
The amount of child support is based on a court order. The court uses guidelines to establish the amount. The only way to pay less than the established guideline amount is to demonstrate that you do not have the ability to pay the established amount.

By the way, if you can't pay the ordered amount, you can and should apply for a modification of this amount based on a more accurate reflection of your current income.

Good luck.

Yes, the court can. That is why it is called guidelines to begin with.
If both parties are in agreement to the child support amount, the courts can accept it. For example, my sister receives more child support than she is entitled to according to the guidelines because her ex agreed to it. Since he agreed (and she did as well, obviously), the court ordered him to pay that amount. Something to keep in mid is that the courts don't HAVE to accept it. They may feel that one party is being taken advantage of and order a different amount. I wonder, if the amount you are referring to is within the guidelines, why not just have the courts figure out the amount?
