What do you do when your signature is typed in an IEP without my consent?

My name was typed in my child's IEP placement signature line. I had not agreed to the document. Are there any laws regarding this? Also this document dates were backdated. I also received this document in the mail, if that makes any difference, even though they had checked the box saying they handed it to me in person.

Answers:
Laws regarding IEPs are not entirely federal - there's a state law component. For example, in New York, there are specific regulations set up under which IEPs (and 504s) are developed, and those include rules on appeals of Special Ed committee decisions.

However, a "typed" signature is more likely a signature block. And if the school system attempts to represent that a typed signature placed without consent is a binding signature, I suspect they won't get very far.
