Whats wrong with Child services?
I have a friend I work with that received a horrifying call at work today. His younger brother was accused of child molestation by his ex girlfriend. Her daughter who is 10 told the police and child services that its a lie but they of course being the idiots they are chose to ignore her. They arrested him(no investigation was done). They threatened him and his own public pretender(defender) told him he is going to prison. The prosecutor and child services told him he will get 20 yrs in prison gauranteed unless he confesses. He refused to confess to a crime he did not do. Two days ago the child services informed him that he will never see his own kids again(they were not involved in the case) and they were taken from his family. The call my friend got at work was from his mother. His Brother had committed suicide because of this. SO I ask you, What the HELL is wrong with child services to allow this to go on? This is another reason I hate them. Whats your opinion of them?

You know what is wrong with Child services, you have dealt with them before and I think it's quite conclusive that they just don't care about the consequences of what they say someone may or may not have done, or that there's a possibility that could make a mistake. They would most certainly NEVER ever admit to a mistaken claim of child abuse whether it be physical, sexual or emotional.
Sadly, I have to agree with you on this. I dear friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him. And he DID serve prison time, and now has to register as a sex offender FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. All because of someone else's SICK idea of a 'joke'. In the mean time, the REAL sex offenders are still out there. It's a sad, sick world we live in.
Oh wow! What a story! I disagree with this but I do not know the other side of the story. But, good luck and sorry this had to happen to someone you know!
while this story sounds unbelievable i totally believe it...i also lost custody of my kids due to a worker making up total lies...4 years later when my parents were almost through with the adoption the state called me up and offered me my kids back because the worker had been caught in removing hundreds of kids from families based on total lies
ADDED: you asked why the child was ignored..in my case my children also stated numerous times that I NEVER hit them but the response was oh there just protecting there mother
I agree I hate child services because it seems their no good in taking the kids that actually need to be taken away but instead go fo the ones that are well taken care of and loved for. T hey are so a** backwards and did you know they cannot be sued at least not here in tennessee they can't.
I can not Begin to understand your pain. I know some one who's step child said something like that. She told them that she had lied because she was angry with him. The charges were dropped but he will be on the child predator list. I think times have changed not for the better. People need to understand that many children today are not the innocent sweet hearts they used to be. In today's world they fight murder lie and steal starting at a very young age. In many cases we as adults need the protection.
It all started with parents loosing the freedom to discipline there children. If a child is spanked they can call 911 and have the parents arrested. I think everything has gotten out of hand. Granted some people do abuse and molest children but child services need well trained people because they destroy peoples lives on a daily basis.
The problem is the government runs child services, which is infested with liberals that believe men are evil and women are as pure and innocent as...nevermind. In any event, the men never get a fair shake in any part of the child custody or child service areana.
Thats really horrible for your friend. He needs to get a good lawyer.
Thats just wrong if he's sent to jail over this.
He could file a law suit against the state or his ex girlfriend for being wrongfully accused of a crime.
