Why doesn’t YA protect users from Trolls?
Troll makes false abuse report.
Innocent user gets shafted, violated, suspended
Fred at YA refuses appeal
Innocent user wants revenge, becomes troll
Fred laughs because troll are job security

YA creates trolls, hides them, supports them.
You want to mess with someone? Use report abuse. It is automated and the innocent will get a violation and eventually suspension if you continue. YA doesn't even check the system for false reports. There is an appeal forum. Fred there makes sure no one ever wins an appeal. It's a total farce.
How would you protect from Trolls? Trolls are sometimes difficult to find.
Just suck it up.
yahoo has no idea what a troll is. which is strange considering they had a lawsuit filed against them because of trolls.
Because they're trolls and not worth paying attention to, unless you just want to make fun of them and turn their oddball logic back on them. Otherwise, they're not worth anyone's time...
