Well since minimum wage went down in ohio.?

will the cost of living and good go down! i mean i was like ok minimum wage is 6.85 and then my mom was like but the price of goods and what not will go up. but now that it is 5.85 will good and what not go back down?
if not that is complete bull ****!
why did it go back down anyways?

Answers:
Ohio's state minimum wage is $6.85/hour, the federal minimum wage is $5.85/hour. Employers have to pay their employees whichever of the two is higher.

By the way, the increased minimum wage has little to no effect on the price of goods increasing. In the last six years, the price of gasoline has doubled and the price of food has nearly doubled while the minimum wage has been the same for over ten years.
