Driving while disqualified in NSW?

My bf was done for driving whilst disqualified. He was disqualified for drink driving, and driving an uninsured vehicle. This time it was only driving while disq. He has a had a few speeding fines etc and has lost his licence once before in the past 5 yrs. Will he be going to jail?

Answer:
He could go to jail, it depends on his character and what the magistrate rules on the day. I would probably say though, living in NSW he could count his lucky stars if he just gets a whopping fine and another disqualified license rebuke but jail is definitely a possibility. Work on his character to make sure the magistrate knows he is a good person with good ties in the community. Hopefully he has a steady job etc.

Probably. Chances are the car will be impounded too.
Thats really at teh discretion of the police officer and moreover of the state law system. For instance in Florida law states that after three occurences of driving while your license is suspeded you Will be going to jail. Looking into the reason his license was suspended (drunk driving), in just about every state I know he would be going to jail to enforce the punishment thoroughly.
He should learn from the case of Paris Hilton.
