was given 10 years by the Federal courts in which they were senctenced alreadly for by state in Indiana there has to be some kind of law in which that person should have noit been able to be reconvicted of that and given more time after finshing the first conviction.

Answers:
The Feds have figured out ways to impose double jeopardy on people. They started using it in the south during the civil rights bullsh!t in the sixties when state courts wouldn't find folks guilty of killing j!g!@b00's. You can always count on the feds to violate the constitution and phuque us any way they can. Or is that violate us and phuque the constitution any way they can? I reckon they both apply equally. Uh oh was that double jeopardy on my part?

ask a professional attorney.
.so. what's the question?
That person should have stopped using drugs back in 1996; so, that by 2007, he could have asked an intelligible question.
Here's a tip. Go to your first question about drug convictions. Click the little pencil underneith it, and click on "add details".
There is a law. It is the double jeopardy clause of the Constitution. It does not apply when one conviction is in a state court and the other conviction is in the federal court. If you don't like it, complain to your congressman about making a state crime into a federal crime. Just don't hold your breath waiting for a positive response.
What?; Bro, I just go out of L.A. County Jail 3 months ago, I'd help you but write english.
you are thinking of double jepardy. and you are correct that you can not be placed in jepardy twice for the exact same charge based on the same allegations. However, state and federal offenses are different. Did you have an attorney for both cases? If not you should review the charging documents and then the statutes the allege you violated. I think you will see that they are different.

If not, contact a local attorney
