What it is the legal age to move out in virginia?
I'm moving out, im 16.. but 17 SOON and my parents say its okay, cause it will just be a lesson... haha. But i'm totally serious about it. I'm moving in with my boyfriend and his friend. They are both going to be going to a school where they get paid to go. I'm going to be enrolled in a high school and working while im not in school. I was just wondering if anyone knew the legal age to move out in VA.. and maybe North Carolina if you knew. And also if my parents have to be there with me while I was enrolling or if it was okay for my boyfriend to go, as a guardian?

I think Virginia and NC is actually 18, but I could be wrong. Regardless, if you're ready to move out, go for it. Actuall age means nothing if you are older mentally.
VA=18 yr. old
NC= 7 yr. old
