Can I get into trouble if they find out its not me?

My sister let me borrow her gym card bc she doesn't use it during the summer. The ppl at the gym never check I.D so I never got in trouble. Now, suddenly a fitness trainer at the gym offers me free training. I didn't want him to find out I was using my sis's card so i told him her name. I want the free training but I am scared that if they find out I can get in trouble.
Any advice?

There's no such thing as a free lunch. Or free training. You know that once they find out (and they WILL find out eventually) that you can be held liable to the gym for the services you stole. And your sister could have her membership cancelled without a refund to her. And someone could conceivably be put in jail over the incident.

Don't be stupid. Stop yourself now before you get into even bigger trouble. If you want a gym membership and fitness training, find a way to pay for it yourself.

you have to stop now. that is a theft of services. you've been taking advantage of it long enough. i would walk away and let it go now. what do you parents have to say about that ?
Yea, if you insist on stealing the membership, then at least try not to be so obvious by stealing free training, too.
it's called victimless crime but when a crime has been committed then there really is a victim isn't there. If she wanted to borrow your boyfriend/husband for a little... ehm ... shall we say, extracurricular activity would that be OK? It's the same principal if you think about it.
I don't see what the problem should be, if your sister gave you the card to use for services that she has paid for, it shouldn't matter who uses them, as long as they have been paid in advance I don't see what the problem would be considering they are looking to attract new custom 24/7, they might just tell you to apply for your own membership, so they can rip you off, along with the rest of their customers.
If she does not use it, then see if she can transfer the membership. In a sense it is stealing; however it would depend on the contract she signed and what the club rules are.

I think the most they would do - would be revoke her membership.

If this is all above board.. then just transfer the membership and if that is not possible.. Buck up and pay the entry fee, Mary.

I wish you well!
First, I would say that the best thing you can do is get your own card -- chances are that when the end of summer comes and your sister wants her gym card back, they won't care if you have one too.

Next time, don't let them know -- refuse the free training that "session" and take them up the next time on your own card. It is obviously something you would be able to use.
