Does anyone know the status of Rep. Barney Frank's bill in the House to legalize on-line poker?

The bill was introduced earlier this year and would exempt on-line poker from the current player account funding ban and also legalize the creation of on-line poker rooms from here in the US. It only applies to poker, not other gaming. Anyone know where it stands currently?

Answers:
Rep. Barney Frank's Bill (HR 2046 or IGREA) is still in subcommittee - there are 35 cosponsors at present.

See the congressional website for daily text of the legislation and for updates:

Also, Lou Krieger has been blogging on this - take a look at his "pro" blog...

Most of the online poker sites have news updates (gambling911, pokerpages.com, etc.) - keep checking!
