Operation: Outgrow Big Bro is a grassroots effort that is making its way to the forefront. Their idea is to empower cannabis users to stand up to and overcome the adversity imposed on them by Big Brother.
They intend to remove workplace testing for THC, give students with prior marijuana related convictions the chance to receive federal student aid and reintroduce cannabis into the wilds of America.
Sounds a little radical.sure. But when has anything worthwhile ever happened unless somebody did something a little radical.
Attention all closed minded non cannabis users,
we love you. We don't want to make you smoke our herb, we just want to have our civil liberties back, thanks.

If you are reading this and you think that any of the naysayers above have good advice for you regarding cannabis, you should be advised. They are obviously not the experts they think they are. There will be people who make ridiculous claims about things that cannabis does to you, or stereotypical statements about the people who use cannabis.
Cannabis users are as different from one another as people who drink alcohol. Of course there are the people who make the rest of us look bad from time to time, but there are also Ph.D's and otherwise successful individuals, who manage to enjoy cannabis responsibly and continue to contribute to society with positive things.
Everyone has a right to their opinion. There's no doubt about that. If you choose to "live above the influence" as they say, then that's fine. We cannabis users are not on a crusade. We are not trying to recruit the world to our side. We are simply standing up for our choice in the matter. So if you disagree with cannabis, ask yourself, how do other people smoking pot affect me? People are out there smoking it right now. They will continue to smoke once it's decriminalized. The only thing that will change is the fact that they won't have to go sit in jail if they get caught. So really, what are you doing by fighting against decriminalization besides scarring the criminal background of otherwise law abiding citizens?
People should really put things into perspective before they run around preaching out against this God-given herb. So, the idea is by planting seeds in the dirt and into the minds of others we can grow cannabis physically and metaphorically. Do your part how you see fit. One thing you can do is seek out questions that were asked on here, but that the best answer picked was an uninformed ignorant response. Contact that person and give them the correct answer, or send them to www.outgrowbigbro.org for more information. We have to inform all who are ignorant of the facts behind cannabis. Another thing is you can take all your seeds and put them where they will grow. Preferably somewhere in public, where people can see them. If we do this, America will become desensitized to the taboo idea that cannabis is a bad thing. If you give them a beautiful cannabis plant to admire near the bus stop or in the Starbucks drive thru, they will have a chance to appreciate the beauty that is cannabis and maybe they will change their preconceived notions.

I think that there are a lot of more important issues in the world than whether or not you can get high legally.
Smoking marijuana is not a civil liberty. I am not anti-marijuana myself but there are plenty of reasons why it should not be legal even though the reason it was originally banned was a poor argument.
Sounds good to me. If we can only take back our country one step at a time so be it.
