Internet Relationships?
My cousin has recently watched the show Dateline NBC: to Catch a Predator and now wants to find some additional information. He wants to know if he (18 years old) can date a girl who is 17 years old as long as it is not a sexual relationship. Thanks for helping him out.

No. 18 is a legal adult. 17 is considered a minor. Tell him to wait til she turns 18. If they really like each other, they'll wait.

they could actually, depending on the state, have a sexual relationship, possibly. in pennsylvania, where i live, 16 is the age of consent.
Tell him not to worry. There is no state which would prosecute an 18 y/o for having a relationship, sexual or otherwise, with a 17 y/o.
