First prosecution for new smoking law in England?

have the police force not got anything better to do like catching criminals for instance?? fair enough the law is the law but posting an article as front page news about prosecution come on. do they really think that everyone is going to stop smoking in public places? if you need a *** you need a ***!! just one more thing! most people that don't smoke already knew that pubs were full of people smoking, but yet they chose to go into these pubs, inhale the smoke and then complain, why didn't they just go to somewhere that they knew wouldn't be full of smoke if they were that bothered about it??


The law is the law ..if you break it, you should expect consequences plain and simple .. doesnt matter what it is.
I think we should all start drinking in that pub! Good on him!!
