Why is it that people want to be doctors and then get angry when they are paged while on call?
* I have had to page a doctor a couple times regarding different patients status of condition and every time he is paged he yells at the nurses for paging him. I'snt that just ridiculious I think he's in the wrong perfession...He just started his residency in July and threaten to file a complaint with my boss because we paged him 3-4 times in one hour regarding his patient's conditions..

In his opinion the Patient's condition did not warrant the Page. Why not limit his pages to after the Patient has died?
If he says anything - say:
"Well you complained about pages while patient was still alive!! You can't have your cake and eat it too!!"
They are upset that they aren't married to Angela Jolie.
Perhaps he is frustrated by the lack of education on the part of the answering service operators.
Some want the money and status, but not the responsibility. Typical attitude in this day in age.
He's probably shocked at how tough a residency can be. You just do what's necessary for the patient's well-being.

He sounds like the kind of doctor who needs a good lawsuit to either wake him up or force him to quit.
Some people become doctors for the wrong reasons.
