How come in court?

how comme in court people say ALL RISE

Answers:
They say this when the judge enters. It's to show him respect same as you should do when someone comes and joins you at a table for a meal.

good question i guess is because they use to said that many year ago
because it comes down to respect of the magistrate.
people i court do not say all rise. the bailiff in the courtroon says all rise. this is done when the judge enters the courtroom.once the judge is seated then the outher people can be seated
