In Arizona will a DUI charge be counted as a 2nd offense if there was a prior DUI 5 yrs ago out of state?
Convicted of DUI offense in the state of Indiana in Februrary of 2002, no other convictions till now here in AZ. Does this fall into the category of a 2nd offense here in Arizona? Is there another time frame if it's an out of state conviction, or are the penalties only applicable if the 1st DUI was in AZ also?

"no other convictions till now" ---- code for lots of drinking and driving and lucky enough to not get caught/break something/hurt someone/kill someone.no offense but i hope you get screwed, i have no compassion for someone that takes the risk of getting drunk and placing that higher on their priority list than that of a person innocently living their life.

well count your lucky stars that all you got was a DUI and not a DUI and vehicular manslaughter. Maybe this is a lesson to you or maybe not since this is your SECOND OFFENSE.
to answer your question is: this will only be your first of fence since it is in another state. but you will loose your license and a hefty fine and hopefully jail time.
yep! most every state is on record for 10 years and are all connected by computer.
