We need to work more on preventing unwanted pregnancies, and youngsters of both sexes need to be educated and brainwashed until they become responsible, and abortion becomes an unthinkable thing to do.
We also need to insure better life for so many abandoned children, and so many who are abused by their parents. We need lessons in parenting more than anything else.
And although I am usually pro choice in most other things, yes it is murder. People need to be educated, one at the time. Burning abortion clinics is just as sick.

Abortion is fine with me. If I get raped or find out my kid is going to be born with Down Sydrome I'm getting an abortion. I don't care what the consquences. I know some women who if you take away their right to have an abortion will just visit a backstreet abortionist.
But you know what is even sadder.. women who are forced to have kids when they don't want them (such as the 14 year old who had to go to the Supreme Court because abortion was illegal Ireland she won) and ditch them. That's really sad when a mother just abandons her kid on the doorsteps of a church (which was the case in Australia on Mother's Day).
I think unless you're willing to start up an orphanage or raise all those unwanted kids plus put a clause in their birth that states that they are not allowed under any circumstances to attempt to contact their biological parents then you haven't got a leg to stand on (well maybe the one in the middle).

I refrain from raping them, seducing them etc.
That means that every year there are hundreds of babies that never got coceived because of my self-restraint, or perhaps several thousand souls not into this world because of my behavior.
You might say that is not murder because it is not until conception that a soul comes into being, but different people religions and belief systems, and understanding of medical science, and other areas do not have universal agreement on where in the passage of a soul, the baby to be is mortal and should be protected.
I say MYOB! Unless you are willing to provide for all of those children whose mothers either don't want, or can't provide a home for, then it is none of your business.
