Answers:
It's extremely challenging, and certainly not easy. Law school involves re-learning how to analyze a problem and making sure that you can see and argue both sides. Atop that you add a great deal of work on understanding legal principles and writing clearly.
Some complain of memorization overload, but the real trick is to see how the pieces of the law interact, to form a cohesive fabric that forms the protective clothing of society. Whether it is something that you will enjoy or not depends on your taste for hard work, careful analysis and, frankly, recognizing that you won't win them all, and that there are a lot of decisions that will seem unfair to you, or just plain wrong.
That having been said, I found law school to be a remarkable exercise in personal and intellectual development, and loved every minute of it, except, perhaps, my basic criminal law exam, on which I could still be writing and not be done with it.
It's a lot of memorization. Getting the degree isn't the hard part, it's the bar exam that is brutal. One of the most difficult exams there are. Some people successfully get their degree but are never able to pass the bar.
It depends on what country you are, here in the our country, Philippines, there are lots of Laws to study. much more than most countries I think. Law students should give all in their studies because flunking and passing Bar exams is like life and death situation and will drastically change your future. One more thing is the Philippine Bar Exams is the toughest here in our country.
Compared to what?
Compared to a B.S. in Physics a J.D. was easy.
There is a lot of reading to do in law school. You have a lot of material to cover but none of it is really all that difficult. Most of the stuff you can pick up in the first reading. The remainder you can get explained in class.
