Dividing of assetts in a divorce (Australian answers only please)?

I have a friend that is separated from her husband and they are fighting over assetts.

Scenario: Husband forms a P/L Company and becomes the sole director, wife is not a director and does not appear on any company documentation, does not recieve a wage and has no active participation in the company, however sometimes does the books. Now they are separated the husband says she is responsible for half of the company debt.

Question: Can she be held responsible for half of the debt and if so does this also make her intitled to half of the assetts

here's another question to consider ...

But that's just a question .. not your answer

She needs to ask a lawyer. But my feeling is that at the most she is a casual employee of the company and so not liable for it's debts or eligible for a share of the company assets . The husband is just being nasty to her , people often do that at divorce time.
