Does loud car radios bother you?
if you actually look at decibal levels created by a car radio, you are looking at volumes less than yelling accross the street to someone, arrest people for a loud radio and by law you would have to arrest a person yelling accross the street. or what about protesting, and chanting, o.k. now thats illegal, and what about a sporting events, is thats to loud for the nieghbors? people you have to understand that just because something anoyes you it does not mean it should be banded. if that was the case many things you enjoy would also be band. look at it this way, to truely live in a free country and to practice freedom of expression, you must allow someone to stand on a podium and preach the very thing you would spend a lifetime preaching against... that my friend is freedom, and that is why we live in america and that is why i have the right to play my music loud. no "harm" is done to others, none.
Am i crazy to feel this way? Is it not True?
Answers:
Unfortunately "freedom of expression" doesnt include loud car radios. The reason for the illegality of them is a safety issue.I dont agree with it, but thats what the "state" says. It more compared to driving with a cell phone than a crowded sports arena.
Yes they do distract me and I do not find them to be cool.
no they really dont bother me if some one wants to blast their ears out when in their let them
It bothers me when the music from the car in front or next to me is so loud that I can't hear my own music even if my windows are closed. That is just TOO loud.
I don't really care if its music (not rap crap or that techno junk) but I can't stand the heavy bass that makes my car vibrate and shake and measures on the rhicter scale. That's just nuts.
On second thought, maybe I oughtta get in the hearing aid business. These people have got to be frying their eardrums.
No not really.
When I can feel a car go by my house with all the door and windows closed, the radio is too loud. Yes you are crazy and self centered.
I try to be very conscious of my neighbors right to peace.
I think the whole "loud car radios" is pretty fun..My boyfriend has 2, 15 inch subs and a 1000 watt amp in his car and its super loud..I love it..It truely is a lot of fun..If we want to hurt our ears and be loud and obnoxious..let us, dont get mad...we are living and having fun..you cant get mad at other ppl when they are having a blast and you are just sitting there on your *** complaining about what they are doing..get over it and get some damn speakers!!
It more a case of respect and consideration for other people. Yes,you have the right to play your music loud,I on the other hand have the right to peace and quiet in my home. Neither of our rights out weigh the other.
It does not bother me when it is done in the right setting. It does bother me when some idiot leaves his car idling outside my house at 2am,rattling my windows and waking my family.
You are not crazy to feel like you do,we probably all blasted our music when we were young. Just remember to have consideration for others when you are practicing your freedom.
It can be dangerous and harmful to others if the music is so loud you can't hear and you are preventing others from hearing an emergency vehicle, such as an ambulance or fire truck. This could even endanger people miles away, who are waiting for the help they need. NOW THATS SELFISH!!
