I've heard reports that companies are requiring employees to have implantable microchips in them to monitor their every move... Sounds scary!

That is what it is leading up to. Be careful if you or a loved one has to have an operation cause although you have to authorize it to be done- unless you read the "fine print" on those forms that you have to sign you could be giving them your authorization just by signing that form and not even know it, Good Luck!!
That is scary, if it happened any place I worked - I'd look for new work. No I don't think that kind of implant is going to happen in America - China maybe but not here.

it is certainly coming they are doing it with animals now the next step is to implant them in children (i believe that is even being practiced on a minimal level). Then Adults.
It s going to be sold as security. Programs are in place for kids safety and finding lost kids. The only chip I want is potato chips, but I think the other kind is on the way!
We are pretty close to it as it is, you are given a number at birth so you can be tracked better. Don't you think it's just a matter of time before the government starts plugging the virtues of "chipping"?

Companies are putting those chips in employee badges. The kind that get swiped to get in doors or used to identify the employee. Some of these badges are holding all your health information and insurance activity. Like you said, others are monitoring your every move.
Some soldiers volunteered about 6 years ago to have this chip implanted under their skin.
Many companies hold patents to provide parents with a Navigation system either in their childrens articles of clothing or under their skin as well. They offer it for pets. So far, nobody actually marketed it for children. THat will be the start just watch.
These chips are attached to items in stores for theft reasons and for marketing purposes.

Well, like the alleged company that you spoke, if you are required to do something for your well being (like your career) then I suppose we will all be "victim" of this in the future. Quit being paranoid. Hell, the government can see you with satellite anyway.
